An Indian company has come out with a tablet PC that costs roughly $500 made to directly compete with the ipad. It seems like every country is trying their best to outdo Apple! See picture below:

The clock on Olive Pad looks pretty cool!
Adobe Flash + built-in camera + mini USB > iPad
The only question is whether the interface will be as good as Apple's. Don't get me wrong, I hate Apple with a passion, but they CAN design UIs.
For now, IMO: A college-lined notebook>iPad.
