First Android Tablet Set For March 2011
Asus will be releasing the first full Android based tablet and its release date is now set for March of next year. It will be significantly cheaper than the iPad (less than 400 bucks) so hopefully that combined with the fact that it has an operating system that we like (Android) make it a likely ipad killer.
RIM’s Blackpad to Compete With iPad
RIM, maker of Blackberry, recently purchased blackpad.com. It only makes sense that this will be the name of the competitor they have announced to be released in November. Finally something from a company that clearly knows what they are doing in the smartphone realm.
OlivePad – only 25,000 Rupees!
An Indian company has come out with a tablet PC that costs roughly $500 made to directly compete with the ipad. It seems like every country is trying their best to outdo Apple! See picture below:
